I know what you mean. this is great win or loose, but in all fairness, if I was not in it I would have voted for yours anyhow.

I think I voted in all the current polls, even if I didn't comment.
Plumber, I appreciate the kind words, especially since your truck is so nice. Daily driver?

no, It only has just over 53,000 miles on it. It is more to keep in the family, That and I don't get to take it out to much except for car shows and occasional drive here and
there

That's cool. Mine was just an orphan we found on the side of the road and she followed us home.
Since she was all one color I decided to do the mechanical stuff first(rebuilt front springs and kingpins)and just drive her for a while. Then the 6 cyl started knocking, so I built the 302/C6 combo and installed it.
Yesterday I welded up the 12" by 16" semi-rectangular hole somebody hacked in the floor when they swapped in a 4 spd for the original 3 spd. Next is the bed floor and brakes.
Someday I'll take her apart and really do her up nice.

sounds like a fun road ahead. Hope everything goes smoothly for ya.
I'm in the process of taking a few things off the engine and repainting them to make them look better.

Congratulations to Plumber, Also Known as Robert.
This truck is very nice, and is Special (It's Super Special)
This is The SECOND Super Camper Special to be involved with these contests, Mine bein' the first.

Also, You may want to check out this thread:
Click here to see A Cool Super Camper Special Thread.
It's been said 3,300 were made total, from '73-'79.
In '77 They Dropped the Super part of Camper Special. So they became F-350 Camper Special, They didn't want the buyer thinkin' they were buyin' a Super-Cab Camper Special, Which was introduced in '74, and is an entirely different thing.
The Super Camper Special is just about the Biggest, Baddest Truck on the Block.
These things have a 8" deep frame.(Which is huge) Have bigger brakes, Stabilizer Bars Front & Rear, and they had a pigtail thing for a camper. They also a Transmission Cooler, a Huge 4-Core radiator, Which were both part of the "Super Cooling Package"
Here's a '74 Super Camper Special Brochure:

OK, Rant Over

Thanks,
-Anthony '76SCS-
