Needing correct belt size for 1993 f250

Sorta confused as autozone has gatorback # 4061110 for a non turbo.

Have read some other posters saying they used part # 4061120 on a 1993. Have read as many threads as I can, even saw where some think a tad shorter/longer were better. Any thoughts appreciated.

And would like the quiet belt.

yeah,that looks right.
i think i went with the cheaper one:
Duralast
Part Number:
1110K6

Gatorback shows up as special order for my store, and i know i didn't.so i must have grabbed the Duralast.
Gatorback appears to be made by Goodyear.

Duralast working fine, and running quite for a couple thousand miles.pretty sure i put one on my last truck too.drove forever and never had to replace it.120k miles at least on it.

autobone gave me the wrong size too. it was 2 sizes 2 small, i think the durocrap number above is the right one. i ll check on sunday. i had to go to autobone twice 2 get the right serpintine, plus this thing has gone up to allmost 30 bucks. i like the older setup on my f350 better with the v belts

Went with the duralast today, like ford250xlt said, the gatorback was not available. So I said what the hey, bought the duralast. Strangleholded my crickets, and now running so quiet you could hear a mouse fart. What i thought would be a tensioner, thanks to you good folks and all the wd40/watering the belt tests, narrowed it down to the gates belt on her. I figured the duralast was not the most reccommended, but those dang crickets were driving me nuts. I rode her hard today and liked what i was hearing. thanks for the input everybody. I finally got to listen to Boston without something drowning it out at high rpm's. As George Costanza would say, I'm back baby!

Only until the next fix at the next turn. But Im going to try to enjoy these few days.

i'll be darned.so it was the same problem i had.your description reminded me of that problem when i first got my truck.
like i said in the other thread, very odd sound for a bad belt to make.exactly like a bad bearing.strangest thing.glad i remembered it.
more importantly,im glad you didn't have to waste $ chasing it down (in my case,i tried the tentioner first,as i saw mine was totally shot and needed replacement anyway.)
i know how it felt when it fixed mine too.much more peaceful.was a very loud and annoying sound.
yeah.lets hope this belt takes us 100k or so hey.

edit,
hey don't forget since its over $20 it counts towards AZ rewards card.
make sure you grab one if you don't have have one.should of mentioned first oops.like 5 purchases over $20,you get $20 store credit.
helps out with many items over time.saved me quite a bit now.

I just put on a Dayco 5061115 from Advance. The last 4 digits of the part # means its 111.5 in. long. Mine seemed a little short,(story of my life) haha I had to take the alternator loose but after running a little it seemed to stretch a hair.

It was strange ford250xlt. It was such a loud screeching bearing type of noise. What happened was i took starmilts advice and started spraying the wd on pulleys. I shot every one, no change, and when I got to the power steering pump pulley, shot a dab on it, completely stopped. So I thought ok, but gave a second or two, let the crickets chirp again, shot again no result. What happened I slipped holding the wd on the first shot and hit the belt. So I took a spray bottle with water and went to every spot around the belt with one squirt, and everywhere I sprayed, complete silence. Had to be the belt. The gates belt I pulled did not look bad at all, actually looked better than the duralast i put on. hehe.

anyway, you were right, cant believe the belt was sounding like that. Ive replaced many belts, but none sounded like that. Sure enjoyed the drive today.

thats odd.the 1120k6 appears to be 1" longer (112")
i wounder if you routed the belt correctly?
the 1110K6 wouldn't go on it? you fully extended the tentioner with a ratchet and it wouldn't go?
what does it look like with the motor running? sloppy?

i just replaced the one on mine. The first one i got was a bit too long. Then i got the next longest one, and its on like it should be. Had to max out the tensionor, and take 2 bolts out of the alternator and swing it around so i could get the belt on. The first belt was way too loose. I was able to get it off without even moving the tensioner.

the 1110 was way to tight i even unbolted the alt. and no go . with the 1120 perfect fit , my truck still has the routing diagram. i would be sure to think u should not have to unbolt something to make it fit

i dunno, i have my belt routed right. Grandpa owned the truck before me, and it was always the same way for him. Maybe the tensioner is messed up.
