I WIN!!!! Problem solved. The line I needed only ended up being $23 and change after tax. The first stealership I called gave me the wrong part number I was kinda suspisious when he acted like he didnt know what an HPOP was. Anyway not to hard of a fix.
Also kinda funny that there is never recalls on certain things but when you buy a replacement for the part that went bad it is slightly diffrent to avoid the same problem in the future. Just a slightly diffrent bend in the line to avoid the IPR nut or whatever you all called it.
anyway done and running again with no visible leaks yet.
Working under there though makes me want to clean some things up. I guess I need to talk to Clay about a ccv mod and some IC boots when he gets em in for the E99.
thanks again everyone

AAAAHHHHHH... End of my confusion..... The crossover line on my 2002 comes nowhere near the IPR nut .... something else different on the 02 and 03s.

I sometimes think the E in E99 should stand for Experimental and not Early.

The part number for that line is F8129D308BA.

I may be wrong in saying the IPR nut. Whatever that big nut or bolt or whatever it is that sticks out of the back of the HPOP on the bottom driverside corner I believe is what did the damage. The new line has a little diffrent bend that takes it lower to avoid contact with it.
