I run WVO and got a lot of debris in my fuel bowl, so the fuel pressure was dropping.
Cleaned it out, replaced the fuel filter, but my pressure did not change. If i messed up the fuel bowl, or there is still debris in there that I missed, what is the best way to check it?
Could it be that the debris has your pump FUBARed?
FUBARed?? I have separate pumps for the WVO system and my diesel system so no debris should have gone through my pump, but I am willing to check anything.

I know in Mercedes cars, they check the amp draw of the pumps. Can you do that?
The last post here sums it up, if I understand it correctly. I can buy this meeter, clamp it onto the terminals on my pump with out removing anything. Start my truck, see amp draw at idle, rev it up, and see amp draw at high RPM when the pressure drops.
connect an ampmeter in series between the power source and the device
ex. remove the power + wire and fit the ampmeter between the + wire and the device
alternitively you can get clamp on ampmeters they are dearer but you can test amps with out removing any wires they just clamp on over the wire and give you an amp reading

OK, what should I be looking for? I know there is a 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump so I should expect it to pull less amps? More amps? And what is the solution, bad fuel pump?

If I were do do an amp draw, I'd start from the pump back. Bad fuel pump means you change it. Since it is outside, at least in a diesel, it might not be an issue
You need to check the pressure at the bowl (pre-filter) under load to see if it's a pump issue or something jammed up in the bowl. hhmmm... That sounds bad. LOL

I dont have another fuel pressure regulator though, how would I do this? Under load meaning the regulator set at 60psi (for example) or load meaning revving up to 2800 rpm?
You can plumb a gauge into the bowl temporarily and run it to where you can see it while driving. Just revving it doesn't put it under load (unless you're on a dyno). You need to drive it. BTW, I may have missed it, but what's it dropping to?
