Just a thought... My 3.0 is in my '92 Taurus, so I don't really know if this really applies to 3.0s in trucks, but I have two serpentine belts... As far as I can tell, one drives the alternator and water pump; the other drives everything else. Any reason for this? Sorry if it's a newbie question...I'm used to my 2.3 as well as 302s and 351 Windsors...
