Rough Country Lift Kit
#16
I've had friends run rough country. I've helped install kits from them. And i've driven and rode in trucks with the kits. But it is what you say, a budget company. As like most cases, you get what you pay for. Thats about all you that can be said about it. True, I don't have FIRST hand experience with them, but I do have experience with them. Personally i'd just buy what you need instead of a kit. Springs arn't exactly known for a great ride. Sure they can be set up to ride nice, but I don't think you'll get that from a RC kit. Your buddies that have been happy with it, have they ever actually used another kit or set up?
I'm just kind of curious how the original suspension is worn out though. Shocks maybe, but leaf springs never have really been a problem of mine. Throw in an add a leaf! If you have bad shocks, just replace them on their own.

I have a F250 RC on my Excursion.......it's big, it's tough, it's thick and heavy.....and a quality part that you could beat to death...... the ride on the road is fine....firm but not harsh....I like that.....off road is very rough and hard.....On the Ex I'd go with Pro comp on a do over.....but if your on a limited budget they are good parts
