My wife is very Happy!

Just purchased my wife a New 2010 EXP 4x4 Limited. I call it a Escalade fighter. I've owned several Tahoes and Yukons, however option for option Ford's EXP can't be beat for the price. This SUV has all the power options as a Denali or a Escalade except for a 6.2 motor.

The sound system is incredible with the bass module.

Very nice. My thought exactly on the Caddy, that motor was the only reason I was looking at it. Expy just seemed to have more "people" room, and for the kids that was important. Still a bit worried about going from a Suburban to the standard size Expy, but if need be, we can always load the roof carrier. Enjoy!

Congrats! Looks sharp... we'll always have "Ford people" and "Chevy people" (admittedly, I'm the former) but a number of unbiased sources seem to praise the Expy/Navis over the GM's for their IRS and easy folding rear seats. I wish we could get 400hp from the factory too, but two weeks into owning our '07 Navi L we're tickled... my wife too!

Nice ride, you did miss two huge items, at least to me.

1. The Caddy's lights, the Escalade has by far a much superior lighting system then the Ford. Ford just can't get their headlights right to save themselves. Every time I drive our company 07 at night I think how can a company get so much right and forget one of the most important items at night.

2. The 6.2 6 speed. A co worker has the 6.2 in his caddy and it's nasty, with a simple tune it's even more potent (a tune on the 5.4 seems almost like a waste of money to me). Ford needs to put the 6.2 in their F-150s and expeditions to continue to compete. I'd also bet that you'd get very similar fuel economy if not better as the 5.4 without a doubt struggles with the load of a F-150 or Expedition at Max GVW (never mind combined weight). There is no reason you should have to worry that the mini van in front of you is going to pull away from you on a on ramp like you do in the expedition.

I do agree that GM's 3rd row seats are a huge turn off if you carry cargo or people. If you were single or just had a wife then it wouldn't be bad. I like the fold flat, don't have to move anything when you go to Lowes space the fold flat floors provide.

Nice looking truck. Congrats on the new ride.

PS - The Escalade may be the only thing that I would trade the Expy in on. The 3rd row seating is some much nice than the GMs though (owned a Suburban prior).
