My youngest grandson getting the feel for being behind the wheel:

I brought my truck to a family camp-out last week-end. It was a big hit. Sleeping in the cargo area was better than you might think. It was raining when it was time to leave Sunday, and it was great to pull away with everything dry.

So do little girls.

Was finally able to get the truck out without it leaking fuel or it raining.

...Here's two parade helpers cooling down after a hot hour's work in the cab. Next up--fireworks:

Nice work avf100! Your truck looks just about ready for you to be out and about in it making some memories.

Here is my son in 1998 before I took Old Betsy to the body shop for nearly a full year. Zach was 6 years old.

Here he was at Christmas in 1997

Not much has changed on the Truck this year but I've logged 4000 miles. Remodeled to take in my Mom, and a second house built for my Wife's Dad. Both 89. That said, some free-time looks possible coming up. Classic Truck Glass (Dark Smoke Tint), Window Hardware, Rubber, Regulators, Trique Door Latches and Headliner Kit are on the shelf collecting dust. Truth be told, the truck-lore of glass/vent installation has me terrified since I have the patience of a two-year old....

My truck has been out and about of late, having just returned from a 2000 + mile adventure out and back from the PA Truckstock. Here it is being driven up to board the SS Badger for a five hour crossing of Lake Michigan:

Hey Thom. It's good to see you are still around! What's happening with the panel these days? Hopefully you are continuing to make a good recovery from your recent accident.

Jim

PS Sorry, I missed your up-date on your panel project and your recovery from your injuries that you posted in your spring swap thread.
