dentsides in the wild!

So I went to the local Lowes yesterday to pick up some odds & ends for a project, and there were not one, but two other dentsides in really good condition already there. I talked to the owner of the green one, which is in amazing original condition- pretty much all stock except for a nice Holley carb; lots of options including cruise control, which I didn't know existed (and which wasn't working on his truck). Really nice dude, too. He bought the truck on eBay & is just starting to learn about it. I talked him through replacing his air cleaner, felt good to have learned enough in these last couple of years to be able to share some knowledge, even if it is really basic.

gracefully aging yellow truck

beautiful green '77

yellow truck had horn button attached to the steering column with a hose clamp, an idea i immediately stole & implemented when i got home. i also kind of like the look of the auto indicator hood plastic shell removed.

cruise control and factory CB radio! i forgot to ask if it worked..

Awesome trucks man. I love seeing dents in public. The other day I was feeding mine and another dent pulls up at the pump next to me a 79 F250 4x4. The owner was real cool, other than he wouldnt sell it lol

I take my girlfriend to school every morning (I'm only 20 lol shes 18) and one day I seen a NICE dent sitting at the bus garage. I went and parked beside it and checked it out. I wish I could have talked to the owner but they never sufficed. I didn't want to look like I was Stealing or nothing So I just checked it out and left. Haven't seen it since.

yeah, there was a lady who looked at me suspiciously when she saw me try to take some photos through the back glass and then start peering underneath the truck... finally had to explain myself...

interesting about the CB. just assumed it was original because so much of the rest of the truck is.
