FYI, back in the 80's I worked on lasers and GM laser etched the VIN on all the door panels and fenders. They laser etched it because stamping it deformed the metal. I don't know if Ford does the same. It was done to ID stolen parts at chop shops.

It was neat to see how the cars wee made on the assembly line. :-)

 

How do i read that VIN? Is there an order to what comes first? They don't seem to all be in a row

 

Just use the one on the dash.
