Hey guys i've got a 1985 351w with a 4v holly carb. Was wondering if the elderbrock stainless steel braided fuel lines would work on my carb? Right now its got a hose and I believe its leaking either there or on the screw above the gas intake on the carb.

This is the screw it seems to be leaking from, I've tightened it the other day.

I don't think you can use a fuel line for an Edelbrock on a Holley, I think they have different connections.

 

There two gaskets one real thin under the bolt & a thinker one under the screw replace them. I run rubber hose on mine with no trouble. I use 3/8' hydraulic hose on all my fuel lines the hold up much better & last way longer. I have hoses on my F250 4x4 460 that are 6 years old & still in great shape.

Thanks Kermmy, where might I find the gaskets? Would Autozone carry them?

 

Try NAPA or Autozone. That is the float adjusting gaskets.
