Coolant hose leak (metal cupling)
The lower coolant hose that connects to the bottom of radiator is leaking the hose seems fine, but what I have seen the "metal cupling" that holds the hose tight, broke.
What is the name of this metal cupling and anything I need to know before I go under and do the repair?
It just happened on a cold start up.

Put a regular stainless steel hose clamp on it and you'll be fine. Check your anti-freeze level as you will probably need some. Other than that you should be good to go.
