herculiner on f150

Uhm, yeah. You should pass. Herculiner is a cheap substitute for a bedliner. It goes on thin, it has to be applied under near perfect conditions, there is a lot of prep work. Even when everything goes right, it fades, it peels, and it looks like crap. You should pay a pro to do it right. It is worth every penny to use a quality bedliner.

I've used it on a grille guard and my nerf bars. It held on in every place there was paint. The inside rear bends of my nerf bars had all the paint wore off and I applied it straight to the metal. It says on the can do not put it on metal but I thought roughing it up would work. Aside from that if you apply it to painted areas it works just fine, my grille guard got totaled in a wreck a few years back but the nerf bars are still holding up great and it has been probably 8 years now. I wouldn't expect it to stick to a chrome bumper but the fender flares it should work just fine.
