fog light install behind grille
hey guys, i decided to remove my grille to paint it and ended up putting off road lights behind it while it was out. despite the advice i was given to tape off the grille and leave it in place, i decided to remove it.
i modified the relay harness that came with the lights so they would turn on with the high beam switch. (i dont have high beams because of my HID's)
here's some pics:

You are a genius!
I've thought about HID's but love using my high beams for different reasons (being cut off, brake checked, stuff like that), since I rarely use my horn. But I've been putting off HID's for this very reason, since I can't really negate spending an extra 50 for the HID with halogen. And I've thought about lights behind the grill...but have never put two and two together.

i dont have any complaints. the grille doesnt block the light at all. i had the grille out to paint it and couldnt tell any difference. and with my fog light mod, i can run the high beams and fog lights at the same time which puts plenty of light down the road, and also puts plenty of light right down in front of me.
