Well I used to wear wrap around sunglasses until Dec 2016, I now wear prescripition glases, wrap arounds won't do much good! I still have to do a little round of chemo, but that shouldn't be too bad. At least I don't have to worry about losing hair. Or at least much hair, I just have a fringe left!

WE have the distinction of having THE largest rodeo in the world -

20 days/nights - with a headliner performer each day.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

I used to show livestock in high school, 2 of my favorite places were Ft Worth and Houston. Of couse it got me out of school for a week also, but I had to make up the work in the other classes!

I volunteer & do some photography work for the rodeo...this is my 11th year.

about 70k folks pack the stadium for each concert / rodeo and we'll have over 130k folks on the grounds on any given weekend.

in total about 1.4M visitors over the course of 20 days (not including the world championship cook-off that starts this thursday).

more than 34k volunteers help put on the Rodeo and as a result help contribute nearly $14M per year in scholarships.
