Lawn equipment - I HATE IT!

I hate every single piece of lawn equipment ever devised. I believe that lawn equipment was devised for one purpose and one purpose only.... To Torture poor slobs like me.

Last week, I bought a brand new (low cost) push mower. With less than 3 hours of run time on it, I hit a stump, cracked the case, and sprayed oil all over everything.

Then after that my lawn tractor had a gas leak and almost dumped 3 gallons of gas in my workshop.

Today I fixed the gas leak and started mowing the front yard. That is when the lawn tractor's transmission decided to locked up. When I try to push or pull it one back wheel wants to go forward and the other wants to go backwards. Usually when this happens, I just drag it to the workshop. But today I can't even drag it out of the yard because it was the ONLY RUNNING LAWN MOWER I HAVE. (I have another lawn tractor, but it doesn't run.)

I swear if that piece of junk catches fire in the yard I will run out there and dance around it singing kabookie songs while throwing more gas on it until it is molten metal in the shape of a fire ant mound.

Tomorrow I am down to weed whacking the yard.

No man can survive this level of torture and be sane.

Awww. Tim! I've been looking around for a half hour for that great big box of salt so I could rub it your wounds...

Because around this time of year...I find lawnmowers that don't run on curbs...and fix them for NOTHING!

Bah. You sound like the lawn mower repair guy. "You owned this mower for 18 years and never changed the oil??????"

Like THAT matters.

TIM TIM TIM....I am a lawnmower repair guy....(in the spring! )....for a little extra cash....and crap!!!! who said anything about oil?(they run for twenty years on a fill up!!) No....it's the carbs that go bad...(and cheap and easy to fix! )

Oh..I WILL say one thing because it's helpful and informative....most folks lawnmower blades are about as sharp on the front as they are the back. ESPECIALLY if you have St.Augustine ...look at the tips of your grass..If it's rugged and torn..it's not good for your lawn!

Crap man.....just Google it....don't wanna explain.....ain't my yard
...YAWN. Yawn. yawn....gotta go!

Mornin' all. Coffee's ready.
Happy Easter to you.
I have the IRS on today's slate ... oh, boy.

Maybe it was just groggy fogginess, but I thought I heard something on the radio this morning when I was waking up about a Salado, TX man injured while launching a riding lawnmower 600' in the air using a mixture of Tannerite and Pinzgauer fuel?
Anybody else know anything about this?

Not the carbs. Tractor #1 rings or valves. Lots of blue smoke. Fuel in the oil. Tractor #2 transmission. Belt keeps jumping to the wrong pulley. Anyway, I hate this tractor. Push mower #1 blade bent. Push mower #2 block cracked.

I heard someone likes tuning lawn equipment carbs for fun. I hate both my blower and weed whacker. The blower will run but for only 10 min then start acting up. The whacker will not idle right and only run at full throttle for a little bit then need to partially choke it.

The Ex on the other hand still has a pop at take off. Changed the u joints and greased the slip joint with no help to the problem.

Also Hello Snuggs
