They were the very first thing to bust out of the ground this year - it has been about a week since they first came up, and as you can see they are in full bloom already!

Not a bad looking plant - but it must be a wildflower of some kind I think...

It looks like what I have heard called daffodil or buttercup. I have some here, they grow really good. They will make more. They are some of the first stuff to come out but the bad thing is they don't last long as far as the flower goes. If it is the same as I have here. We have some similar here that is all alongside roads. Apparently they were really popular. They grow good as well, I think those are called daylillys.

I believe they are Daffodils from googling it. They do just come up early in the spring and gone my wife does love them I tend to pick some up on the way in from work for her.

 

First sign of spring, I can't recall the real name but common is Buttercup.
