Gasser truck/SUV mileage-need yours

I'm evaluating whether or not keeping my truck is feasible now that gas and diesel prices are pushing $3 a gallon again.

I would mostly like to hear from you gasser owners as to what sort of mileage you get with your trucks/SUV's. If you could, give me year, make, model, engine & transmission as well. All makes and models are free to report in this thread.

My truck is a diesel, but I've never gotten better than 13 mpg out of it, in town or on the highway. Neither seems to make much difference. It seems like everyone I know with a gasser pickup does better than that especially on the highway. Hell, my boss has a '03 Silverado with (I believe) a 5.3 that he says gets 19-20 mpg on the highway, and another supervisor has an ''00 or so Ram 1500 with a 5.9L in it, and although he just had to have the transmission rebuilt because it was slipping, he said since the rebuild he's been getting high teens with his truck driving back and forth to work. WTF, I thought the 5.9 Rams were gas hogs?

What gears do you have in the '94? We have a '93 IDI with ATS turbo that gets better than 13 and it has 4.10's, doesn't get much better but a 1-2 mpg better.

My '88 5.8L 4x4 5spd with 3.73.1 axles gets around 18 hwy and 14 city. 15 combined.

I'm totally trashing the idea of getting a new truck. I'm keeping the '88 and buying an econobox as a DD. Spending north of $60 a week on gas takes the fun out of driving the damned thing.

I am getting about 14 mpg mixed driving in my 5.4L V8, using 91 octane. I wish gas was $3 a gallon in BC, thats so cheap. I just filled up for 1.13/L (4.26 a gallon) and it hasn't peaked yet.
