Disappointing Discovery on connecting Rods

I have an 01 f250 production date 09/00. I check the number on the valve cover and it seemed to be well within production serial numbers. Forge rods serial #1446713-1498318. My serial # is 1470445 so I assumed for sure I had forged rods. So I decide to pull that plug next to the starter and guest what I found a BOLT not a NUT. Does any know how much power PMR rods can handle?

Don't bother worrying about it, just enjoy your truck and plan for having to replace the motor when it goes. That way if it holds out and you have no issues you are ahead of the game, and if not you were prepared. What's the use of wondering what might happen everytime you step on the throttle or add a part. Just my .02

I say drive it.
Bolt on the parts you want, tune conservativly and enjoy your truck. I just assume I have forged rods, but have not checked; and I'm gathering parts for a compound turbo setup. No worries here.
I'm sure that if you stick with stock injectors you'll be just fine.

What kind of price are we looking at? What kind of HP should I go for that is after my engine goes. Hoping it will last a long time before I have to get another motor. Just trying to get an idea on how much to save.

Thanks Roger

I didn't know there was a plug that you could take out by the starter to see the nut/bolt for the rods. I used this LINK to look for the nut on the rod. It says to use the plug next to the oil filter. I do have forged rods with a build date of 8-19-00.

Sorry my bad not the starter it next to the oil filter. What is the serial # on your valve cover? It looks like I just missed it By a month.

Thanks Roger

I don't have my truck here, I am in my ranger today. . The sticker on my drivers side valve cover is gone, (to much cleaning) I guess. That date is on my door sticker and the build sheet I got from Ford dealer.
