Rear Axle Vent Piece

Thanks- so all I need is a length of rubber hose clamped to the nipple and then run it up somewhere else along the frame. Where do I get nice new hose to frame clips like you have there?
Also- why does the longer tube keep oil from spraying out? Does the air pressure just push the oil out the longer tube?

Don't know where you can get those pretty clips.... parts store 'help' section? Zip tie?
Anyway, the longer tube will help keep the "oily mist" from spewing out like a short one would. You shouldn't have an oil "leak." It's a breather...just there to keep the inside/outside air pressure equalized so the seals don't blow out....as long as its not plugged up.
