OilGuard now ECO MicroFilters is getting expensive

I put on OilGuard's bypass filter kit, and it seems to me that they are getting expensive. Or am I wrong?

$428 for the kit and $24 for an element. It's not cheap but could be much worse. Shop around for the elements.

Where else can I get elements to fit their filter other than from OilGuard?

I am almost sure that these units are a Racor stock filter. If someone who has a little more smarts than me may know the Racor Part Number for these filters and with that infomation we may be able to search around for a better price. Can anybody help us out?

How often are you changing you Oilgaurd Filter? I was thinking every 10000-15000 miles. I've got 5 or 6 on the shelf currently but would like a cheaper source also.

I change both filters every oil change, every 5,000 miles.
