4x4 issue on new truck

I bought an 89 SWB 4x4 F150 5.8L 3 speed auto about a month ago. My issue with the truck is when I put it in four wheel drive it feels like the drivers side front end is coming off the ground sort of like I am riding on a square tire. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, what was it? Thanks ahead of time for the knowledge.

I'm not sure about the turning part. I'll try later and let you know. It happened on a dirt road on the way to my fishing hole. It was on a flat spot after the mud puddle that I noticed it. Any ideas?
