That will be my solution if the smog tests ever come to my region. I have the stock intake manifold and egr cooler from the new engine I swapped into my truck. I saved the manifold and egr cooler and will weld up the cooler and install them if necessary. I installed my FCD kit on the new engine because my welding buddy was on vacation when I needed him.

 

Just my opinion...but some of the kits on the market are priced stupidly for what you get. This is the kit I went with and I am so happy with it:

I opted to keep the EGR in place for visual inspections. Do what you want but ultimately you cannot beat this kit for the price or for how much u get.

 

what's the cost? For egr and dpf delete 4-5 inch exhaust, sct 4x tuner, and head studs. 08 f250

 

Unless you are driving an 08 with a 6.0, you might try the 6.4 forum, and start a new thread.......this one died over 6 years ago.
