How long will it take someone to do an EGR delete kit?

Block off and delete have the same result, but IMO delete is way better you won't have to worry about it again. With the block off there is always a chance of the plug going bad then you have the same problem again.

Blocking off the egr cooler means blocking the flow of exhaust gases from the y pipe into the egr cooler. This has been used successfully by some on newer, low mileage trucks because it minimizes the temperature extremes seen by the egr cooler. The theory is less heating and cooling swings and thermal metal expansion/contraction cycles will enable the egr cooler to live longer. The delete is just that. EGR cooler is gone, no place for coolant to flow therefore no place for it to leak into the intake. I did my delete with a FCD kit and have a spare intake manifold. I am preparing for the possible smog inspections by by welding both ends of the egr cooler shut, pressure testing the welded vessel and setting on the shelf. If I need to return to stock look, I will install it.

Hi Cheezit, New here and looking for a little info. on changing the 2 serpentine belts on my King Ranch. There is a wire/line that runs between the fan and the rad. How do you get that apart to get the belts past?
Couldn't find any info. on the belts but just did an EGR delete and found you on the posts. Thanks, Jim

This is the kit we have done Ford Products
they say you can reuse the gaskets but we have purchased new gaskets, esp. the one oil feed to the top of the turbo

I installed the Liberator kit on the weekend. Took me a little longer than the 4-6 hours the instructions say. I am looking for info on how to change the serpentine belts. I couldn't find any posts for this, so I may be in the wrong place.

The easiest way to do it is to pull the radiator and fan/shroud assembly. At this point the belt is exposed and can be changed. You can't get the belt off without removing the fan/shroud assembly

That kit looks good. Kinda hard to swallow the price tag though. Can you send me the instructions on it?

I am waiting on a guy to tig weld a egr cooler for me. Seemed the most cost effective way to go. Weld up both ends. No place for it to leak.
