Fix seems to be working. They zip tied it away from the spring. I'll take some pics...but, it's all cleaned up. Today I went out to go run some errands and the climate control unit was dead. Did a search and found the fix for that........pretty easy. Turn the headlights off automatic. At least these all seem to be common problems and we can find out what others have done to solve them.

Assuming no leaks the refrigerant will last indefinitely.

I would be interested, but like you said, shipping would be difficult.

Well, I just got an estimate to replace the rear lines in my X. They want 3k but that's not going to happen. it looks like the leak is right behind the motor on the passenger side. Any new fixes or repair parts out on the market? I know it's an old thread but any new info would help

I'm not sure if you all ready have this problem fixed, but here is what I have done myself and has been holding for over 5 years. If you have a hydraulic repair shop they have spice fittings that withstand 12000 PSI pressure, a little over kill but it works. Take a tubing cutter and cut each side of the hole and take the small peace of tubing the the hydraulic shop and they will fix you up with the splice fitting. Mine was about 15.00 bucks. Good luck hope this helps... Doc.....
