IAH relay for GPR? OT. back surgery posponed
hay guys well its monday morning and i should be in houston for my back surgery . but due to some mix up on my insurance part im in lembo.
now to the truck i did away with the IAH soon after i got the truck.
my GPR is working about 2 times out of 10 now so it is on its last leg
my ? is until i get a stancore relay can i swap the IAH relay over to the GPR spot and tape up the wires out of the way.
on another topic i got a chance to talk to CPUNECK on the phone this weekend.
if you get a chance to meet him i can say on my part he is a quality person. i would like to thank him and all the service men and ladys serving this great country. were it not for them i would not be free.
im the grandson of a 93 year old W.W.2 VET and am proud of it

It's easier to move the wiring than to move the relay.
The GPR mounts are different than the IAH heater relay mounts.
They are indexed different IIRC.
All you need to do is move the large wire that comes off of the GPR and goes to the glow plugs to the output post of the IAH relay and move the small signal wire from the ECU to the small post of the IAH relay.
Of course you need to disconnect the two wires you are replacing.
The two power wires on the passenger side of the relay can be left as is.
