change of direction transmission swap A4LD to FM 145

I recently acquired A FM 145 transmission.I am not that crazy about internal slave cylinders I'm wondering if I swap bellhousings from a tk5 and put that bellhousing on my FM 145 transmissionthen I should be able to run an external slave cylinder. I have the parts to do the swap including the fork I would assume I would need to run a clutch from an 84.the TK 5 transmission was out of my 84 Bronco 2 the FM 145 transmission is out of an 87 Ranger. also I am assuming the clutch and smaller brake pedal should fit in the bracket that has just the brake pedal I am also planning on switching over to manual shift transfer case.I also have that transfer case out of the 87 RRanger.has anyone done this or can you point me in the right direction where I can find the proper information on how to do it.I have been going over it in my mind and I can see why this can't be done. I will save money on the swap to get the same results. also I'm wondering if the pilot bushing is the same for both transmissions I would think so but not positive any input would be greatly appreciated thank you
