302 Dip stick
I am running a 1970 302 in my 48 F1. I am not sure what the motor is out of but it is a rear sump with the dipstick tube mounted on the passengers side of the oil pan. For whatever reason the previous owner must have broke off the end of the dip stick so i can't tell what the oil level is. Does anyone know what the part number would be for the dipstick and where i could get one.

I'd look at rock auto or summit (online). Or you could call a Ford dealership and have them order one, probably. That's just to be sure.
I agree, you could go to a junkyard and get one, but you couldn't be 100% sure it is the original, correct dipstick being that there has been 40 years that it could have been tampered with.
