Anyone heard of or used this. im looking for an inexpensive chip with just a few settings. i cant afford a dp tuner right now. jim is selling a 3 position TS performance, but i cany find anyone to program it to my vehicle pcm code (DAC3)...thanks for any info...

If you want to save money for a chip, you can build your own stinger extreme resistor for about $5.

 

how do you do that? will it mess up the truck? i would appreciate learning how to unleash some horses until i have enough cash saved up...thanks

 

Full of crap lol You can find used DPs alot for around a 150-250

 

i have been looking for a used on...even a 3 position on, but just can find one to match my pcm...let me know if you know where one is...thanks..

You can send your PCM to Jody at DP-Tuner and have a tune loaded onto it for around $100

 

If you can get a TS chip, there are plenty of guys that can reburn them for you, my favorite is Tony Wildman.
Tony can reburn it for $150, a lot less than the crap on ebay and you actually get your money's worth, he doesn't just play with fuel but will tune all aspects of the engine and transmission to optimize performance.

idk what the pcm code is. it's an 01 model. f-5 tuner with the gauge pod switcher.
