3rd gear slider
I am having an issue with my 5 speed trans in my 04 4.0 ranger. I would grind in 3rd so i took it to the trans shop. Figured syncos. Well they were wore but apparently the 3-4 slider is an issue in these trucks. For has made a new one to fix the problem but they dont know when they will actually MAKE them. I am stuck putting the same inferior stock(but new) slider back in. has anyone else had this issue

Well i got my truck back from the trans shop today. All new bearings, seals, syncros, 3rd gear slider(original style), 2nd gear shift fork, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and slave cylinder. Works awesome . Cost 1171.00
