85 F250 XL Electrical Part 2

Hi All, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
last night i went to start the truck, and the battery was completely dead, i don’t know what keeps draining it? <o></o>
<o></o>
I have replaced the:
Duraspark II
Distributor
voltage regulator
alternator
starter solenoid
battery cable (positive)
cap and router <o></o>

and the battery
<o></o>
are there any other charging unites that i am missing? what would drain the battery like that if the alternator is working properly? <o></o>

Did you check the system with the volt-meter? You need to make sure everything's charging properly. It could be a wiring issue somewhere down the line and not an issue with the individual components themselves.

It sounds to me like everything you need to replace to get the system charged up has been replaced, aside from the negative battery cable.

Check the wiring for a short to ground.

remove one fuse from the panel at a time to isolate the problem.
