I found this turbo
big garrett turbo t4 brand new
What do you think?
I found one new for $800. Is it a good deal? Am I ready for this without fuel or HPOP mods?

I just talked to him and he doesn't know what diesel it is built for. He was going to use it on some after market application.

Most likley you'll need to to mod a pedistal to fit? If a 42r can fit them that thing can fit lol of you handy with custom work and got som time it looks like one he'll of. Deal man. If you needs know the specifics, not to be a trade but post this at powerstrokenation, there really good with stuff like that

Looks similar to a 42R. You'd need to custom fab or buy a T4 flange mount setup to make it work, but for the price I'd be very tempted! Ask him about the specs so you can be sure it will work for you.
Still kicking myself for missing out on a $250 H2e about a month ago.
Depending on which turbo that is your stage 2's should be able to spool it nicely.

He doesn't know much about it. He was stumped on everything I asked. I might be able to have him lower the price as well.
Where could I find a mounting bracket?

You can build a mount kit yourself or buy one from Bean's, Hypermax, DI, Dieselsite, and maybe a few other places. You'll need to know compressor housing inlet and outlet size, exhaust housing outlet size at the least to know if it will work for you. If he can run a tape measure he can tell you that info.

u have to find out which garrett turbo that is. kinda looks like a 4294, but i have no clue. figure out the inducer/exducer on both the turine and compressor side too. and your post on PSN didn't show the link so ppl over there are like wuts the A/R and stuff. LoL. i think the turbine housing will be too big for stage 2's personally.

Ya I'm with Travis on this one, but I thin kit looks more like a GT40. Have him give you the s/n on the plate on the side of the compressor housing, might have the model on the side aswell (not sure on that). But from the looks of it your out of the standard stage two build there, it looks like it would be a little laggy with only 160cc of fuel. But like said above have him run a tape measure and get the dimensions and also grab the s/n cuz I'm pretty sure that you can cross refrence it somewhere and get the specs to it, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I am having a hard time finding out any more information on it. I did find that it is a T04E13 turbo off of a DT-466 and that they used them on both the 210hp and 245hp trucks.

I'm thinking the max housing for our engine is 19cm or maybe if you have a ton a fuel you might be able to support 21cm housing.

Looks like a 3" in and 3" out? I don't think this charger is anything special though.

You can get non-performance chargers fairly cheap. Especially the ones that are used on medium heavy duty applications.

yeah, that turbo is probably nothing special. i, personally, wouldn't take the time to put it on when i could put a performance turbo on instead and spend a little more and get more. if you want, keep your eye out for a little S300 or something. S300's aren't very expensive and they perform pretty well, just make sure it's got extended tip(not sure if any S300's came without extended tip).

You could always try to find the flow rating(CFM) of that turbo and if it flows decent then try it.
