Hmmm... it appears to have DS2 ignition box and it does not have the solenoids mounted to the rear of the valve cover. Where is the air pump? Canada must not have had the stringent polution control standards at that time. 1984-1986 US models had the infamous feed-back system.

When I saw the title, I thought it'd be just another thread about that black lifted truck (I don't think it was an '86 though) that supposedly only had like six thousand miles on it or so... but this truck is a lot nicer I think! The price is a little scary though

Did Canada have 6 digit (+ tenths) odometers???
Eliminates - "I wonder how many times over this one's been.......?"

When did the US trucks get the same?

I never realized there were that many differences between our Canadian trucks and those made for sale in the US. Is anyone aware of any others?

They more than likely do. I know that they have made different Mustang options up there. Hey didn't Canada have a Mercury pickup truck back in the day? I could have swore I saw that on one of the truck shows before.

Yes there used to the Mercury M series trucks...not for a while though. We can't get Mercury's up here anymore other than the Grand Marquis which is going or gone already.

they feed back system has been removed.we had almost the same emissions as the US.my 85 still has the air pump and feed back system on it.surprisingly still works.Ontario has emissions testing ,so i don't think it will pass.

the odometer is in kilometers not miles,so it probably has rolled at least once.

i used to have 66 m100 merc truck.should have kept it.

btw nice looking truck.

Missing the flexy hose for air-cleaner fresh air supply too. 15K That's a lot of coin for a 2WD regular cab truck with a 4.9... Maybe I should ask $5,500 for my rusty '85 4X4 LOL.
