I usually do really well In Deadwood on the machines. last 2 visits I have come home with a few hundred bucks.

Thought I would share a few pictures of our repainted attic... It was downright nasty before with fifthly carpet and the pink paint and textured flowery wallpaper werent much better.

Still a little touch up work to do, but it it a thousand times better than it was.

I had to do quite a bit of that too steve. I am getting better at it but the drywall is a little rough still. Just adds character right?

my spackling looks like mashed potatoes, I sand off more than I put on it seems!

Mmmm...mashed potatoes....


I've actually gotten quite good at drywall mudding. I got smart when I did my basement, and rented a "dustless" drywall sander. It's a powered sander, that uses a doughnut shaped sanding disc, and hooks to a shop vac. Saved me a TON of time, and kept the dust to a minimum.

I got one of those that has a water bucket attached to the shop vac, it still doesn't make my spackling look any better...lol
