WELCOME (to the nut house)

Sorry, I don’t, but see them on eBay all the time.

Someone sane will be along shortly to give you a hand.

In the meantime here is one that I would think that you don’t want!

Car cover

Thanks for the picture, I think thats the one my wife thinks I'll buy.Have been reading threads for a while seems to be a great group. I was a member of The Dodge Bros. club for years but sold the old 29 Victory six years ago and got out of the hobby. Now the bug has bit again with a 1950 F1 and away we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used a California Car Cover for the last 10+ years with no problems. The fit is good and I would recommend it highly. Mine is used on my 56 but they make them for any application.

I bought one made for the Bonus Built that I just LOVE!

It is light weight, water proof, fits very well, and has this drum thingy with a handle (like a big fishing reel) that hooks onto the truck cover and rolls it up neatly inside.

I bought it on e-bay on sale for $28!

I looked and found the guy still selling them. This one is for 50-51 but they are the same for 48-52 Short Bed Bonus Built!

I recommended this to Bobbytnm about 6 months ago here (and of course the search engine couldn't find it) so yo may write him a PM and ask him how he likes his!

Here is the auction on e-bay - still on sale!

Julie, you also recommended the roll up cover to me, which I bought and love, easy to put on and cheap. Just a big bag, but does the job. It isn't the one you put the link in for though. The one you pointed me to was this one.

Sold by usapowerseller on eBay. He seems to be currently selling for $89, mine was around $60 in November. Guess he was selling them to fast. I got the long bed version and it covers my whole truck, stake bed and all.

Not sure I would use it for long term outside storage but it would protect it for the occasional rain storm at a show.

OH SHOOT! I copied the WRONG LINK.

I corrected it above, but here is the right one again.

FORD F-SERIES STD CAB SHORT BED TRUCK COVER 1950 1951 ! : eBay Motors (item 270453577180 end time Mar-06-10 19:22:12 PST)

When I bought mine, it was normally $89.xx, but was marked down to $28. Now it looks like he's selling a lot of them. I'd keep an eye on the auctions and maybe one will come up much cheaper. I mean, all our trucks were pretty much the same dimensions from 48-72!

Thanks Jim!

I have car covers from California Car Cover for 3 of my vehicles including the Panel. I highly recommend them as they will make it to fit your specific vehicle. Have a non or only partially retractable antenna? just tell them where it is and how long it is. Need extended mirror pockets? Same thing. They even made one for our 2002 Celica without the rear wing (a special order delete option, very few ever were sold that way). I recommend their Noah fabric for weatherproof outdoor use. It is rain proof but breaths releasing trapped moisture.

The guy "usapowerseller" was really great to deal with as I recall. Maybe just write him a note or call him (I think his number is listed on his "Store" on e-bay) and ask him to be sure to send the rolly-uppy one - it's a really nice feature, and solves the storage problem
