Did you install the Outlaw muffler at the header collector (as specified by Flowmaster) or in the traditional location (mid-ship)? Flowmaster also offers a single chamber 10 Series Delta Force muffler. See link below for details.

The Banks kit is what i had, and the only thing I liked. I'm not fond of the Cherry Bomb sound...

It sounds like to Honda Civics running...

We just put the Banks Monster on our 2010. Like the sound, not V8 rumbly. Just a nice authoritative, deep sound. I use the remote start alot just so I can hear it light up. Very civilized at speed.

I have the Banks on my '08. Nice on the highway and at WOT, but drones at 1400-1800 RPMs.

IMO.... save the glasspacks for the mexicans in their ruined impalas or monte carlos with big rims...

It is a work truck... what is wrong with the stock exhaust and pull an equipment trailer quietly on the interstate?

If you are really interested in getting an exhaust system - IMO - the banks setup would probably be the best. I, myself could not afford it, but they do sound great and doesn't get anonying when there is a consistent load on the vehicle...

Don't get me wrong, but I think it is pathetic when people lift their trucks and make it loud when they can not go through a trail as well as every other wrangler/cherokee out there... esspecially those that huge rims they put on.... I mean... are you serious? are you really that insecure about your size *down there*?

I use my truck to pull my *race car* around and my chevelle.... but... to make any smooth idling stock cammed truck louder and anonying (like every other 16 second civic with fart can out there).... am I the only person that see a problem here?

well lets see, i paid $280 for my exhaust, its only extremely loud when i accelerate hard, and i don't mind the 40 horsepower it gave me. my tires are only wider and 2 inches taller, i have no lift, who needs it. and as far as my size "down there", well my wife likes and thats the only person i have to impress with it!

40 hp? Those must be "marketing" hp.

Real world hp is probably closer to 10.....

actually the marketing was gain up to 100 h.p., but when they put the truck on the dyno for my inspection, i pay extra to get the h.p. numbers before the exhaust it was at 295 wheel h.p. and after it was sitting between 335 and 340. and as soon as i get the money i'm putting a paxton on her and i'll be sitting somewhere around 500 h.p. But i don't want an argument, not the thread for it, i just wanted to state i got a killer deal on the exhaust and it has a beautiful tone to it.
