it does help alot, thanks man, what im gonna do is compare my harness to me dads because my 03 came from the factory with heated power and turn signal tow mirrors, i think i should be able to get it together, im just gonna wire it through the hot wire to the power windows as well, just hoping the connectors arent radically different. thanks buddy

 

That's the same write up that I used for my truck. I had the round connectors and everything so I had to run wires for the heat, lights, and turn signals too.
Tried to rep you for it, but was locked out.

 

i may luck out then because im pretty sure my dad has the grey rectangular connector like i do

 

I just cut the connector off and put in quick disconnects if I ever bust another mirror. Just hardwired it for the parking lights turn and heat. The power mirror plug matched up tho. Put a set of 05 mirrors on my 99.

 

yea my connector and my dads look identical with the same number and color wires going to them and i have heated mirrors with integrated turn signal so all should be good i think, hes just getting heated tow mirrors no turn signal

 

I have an 08 f250 xl.... Is it possible to add heated and turn signals mirrors?

Yes. A popular upgrade for us first gen SD guys is to install '08+ tow mirrors. You will just have to wire them up like we do as your XL doesn't have any of those features.

 

How are ya'll adding turn signal wiring or is it there in the OEM harness at the door and not used? If not, where you pulling the turn signal wiring from?

 

Turn signal wires are under the cover right behind the steering wheel in the vicinity of the 4 way flasher switch. White with a blue stripe and green with a white stripe if I remember correctly. The hardest part is fishing a wire thru the door grommet.
