No more hood hokey pokey!

I picked up my CPP flip kit this weekend. 350$???? ridiculous. (like my dropped spindles, 550$$$) I got the bare steel and have already painted to match. I got the hood off this afternoon (alone!) the hinges off and the cover plates put on. Gonna let the paint cure and will finish up Saturday.

So I was off today and decided to go ahead and put the hood back on. I got the bracketry mounted and then decided i was not happy with the appearance of the underside of the hood, since it was now going to be so much more visible. It'is now at a buddy's body shop. Oh well, better now than after I got it all mounted..

Thumbs up

Ok. Got my hood back yesterday and mounted the whole kit and kaboodle today. I take back my complaint about the price of the kit. It is well engineered and constructed, easy to assemble, looks good, and the whole thing is rock solid. No issues. I'll post some pics maybe this weekend.
