PLEASE HELP WITH KEYLESS ENTRY
Hello ,I just purchased a 2009 F250 super duty, the previous owner never used the keypad nor does he remember the factory code.in the book it said the sticker would be on passenger side fuse box and it is gone ,dealer wants an hour labor to clear the codes so I can put my own in,does any one know where else I cAN find the factory code on this truck or a trick to use my own code so I don't need my keys ,ive looked all over I thought if any one knows it will be here thanks in advance Tommy

You can NOT reset the factory code for the keyless entry. You can add additional keyless entry codes but you must know the factory code. To get the factory code, you will need to visit the dealer or some shop that has a Ford IDS to access the pcm/ecm. Not sure if a locksmith can do it or not.

Not sure if it would the same or not. But my 2005 excursion code was on a box under the dash behind the radio kind of. I tried a few times with mirrors and flashlights but could never figure ot out. I was looking at pics online. I realized one day that i was all turned around when under the dash from being uspside down. Finally got it. Its awsome having keyless entry.
You can lock the truck by pushing the two buttons on the right at the same time without the code. At least you could use that for now.
It would be worth the $100 to me if the sticker was missing now that i use it all the time.

Here is where it is on my 2005 F250, on the firewall just left of center and visible through the drop-down driver's mini glove box, I can't imagine that someone would find the need to intentionally get in there and remove the sticker:
Not sure about 2009, but on most years you can't "clear" the factory code, so I would be wary of a dealer saying that is what they want you to pay them to do. As Just Strokin indicates, all they can do is retrieve the code so you can use it to set your own custom code if you want.
