Question freezeplugs

Where are the freezeplugs located? How do you replace them after they pop out? On a 89 Ford F150 4x4

You need to specify your engine too, if you want a good answer from anyone.

they are at various locations, my 302 has 3 on each side, and one on each end of the heads (2 per head, 4 total) ..
