I wasn't too excited about it since it has plastic tanks on it, but my original one was beyond repair. I got it from Advance Auto with an online discount, so I gave it a try. So far I like it, the plastic is much heavier/thicker than my Magnum Hemi radiator. It was an exact bolt in and fit perfectly.
Thanks for the info. I think I will replace my radiator when I do a 460 swap (some day).
To be honest, it was yerterday but I replaced the radiator hoses, thermostat and cap. This was due to the 'stat sticking closed, causing the upper hose to go puunt!
On the plus side, it had been 6 months since the last time I had to call AAA.
I had a valve tap on my 76 F100 so my neighbor and I took my valve covers off and assessed the problem. Turns out it was a clogged valve stem. We sprayed it with carb. cleaner and the oil started to come through, good as new, I hope.
I finally did it. I replaced all the lights on the truck with LEDs and the results are amazing. I even replaced the lamps in the dash with LEDs and it's never looked better (At night anyway).
Was going to pull the U-Joints this weekend and get the Driveshaft balanced but the new U-Joints they didn't arrive in time so I went drinking instead.

I also have a pesky valve tic. Can you tell me what you mean by clogged valve stem? Thanks for any help.

I'm not the mechanic my neighbor is but he took the bolt off the top of the valve that didn't have oil flow he than removed the rocker and pulled the valve stem or rod, I'm not sure what the proper name for it is, but oil seemed to flow through the other 7 onto the rocker and than down onto the head. So he cleaned the one that was clogged and presto the oil started to flow. That's my non-mechanic explanation.
