hahaha thats great! I'll be moving my gauges under the ash tray as well, maybe. Any chance you can get a POV pic in the drivers seat looking at them(not super zoomed in) so I can see what it'll look like?

may as well say almost every thing in the last month! i bought a 79 rust free bronco that i have to get ready for an inter-provincial safty inspection so i had to boot my 79 scs out of the garage to get this in man all most every thing needs to be looked at or repaired as the po made a lot of work that usualy dosnt or shouldnt even need work due to he or she not knowing what their doing! ever try to remove the dash light sending unit from the brake prop valve when its broken flush? cant be done on a 4wd [no room ] so it has to be taken off the truck un doing all the brake lines and bleeding the brakes again all because the wireing harness was tie straped wrong pulling on the wires to the sending unit breaking it off jumper wire on the fire wall for the trans nutral safty switch [engine turned/started in any gear] why not just change out the switch? thats the kind of stuff i am dealing with

Cleaning up the PO's mess

So I bought a new to me truck last night for $350.00, it is a 1978 F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special, so today I changed the oil, cleaned up some wiring mess left from the PO for the previous radio that had been removed, replaced the radio bracket, cleaned the dash, replaced the dash panel with a good used one from a 1978 cab that I bought last weekend for $75, went and picked up a good used grille shell for free to replace the mangled one on mine, removed the mess of hoses that was included with the newer 351W that came from something 1985 era, took the truck to the carwash and washed the outside, underside, and engine compartment, sheesh I think that was enough

I have not done much work to it lately, but I did pick-up a Ford/Sterling 10.25 Axle to drop in her soon. It'll be about 3-1/2 weeks before I will have a chance to work on the ol'girl.

you make an awesome point. I'm 15 and can't afford a $600 truck payment.

Ok, this is what I got up to, I took pic's of my deck, after spraying in the deck liner, the POR15 POWR Liner, it looks great, and the dogs haven't managed to scratch it off yet.....

I sprayed it 2 weeks ago, yeah, it rained!! I have also re-fitted the roll bar too.

Lots of places. I recommend a google search as there are toooo many to list. They're not year/make/model specific so theres lots of them to choose from. As long as it dimensionally fits.

78 f250 supercab

replaced drivers side window regulator...WOW! The window was really hard to roll up and down before. Now with the new regulator from LMC it rolls up & down super easy.

Also replaced the passenger door window weather stripping, adjusted the clutch, and took care of a few other maint items.
