Installed two new door speakers. Still no sound. Next replacement will be the stereo. I need a new one anyway. Also, fixed the broken front blinker.

Sitting out a sight?
I've never had anything on a vehicle that looks or is this bad.
LOL no. They were on my Corolla, probably since it was built 25 years ago. I've put over 90,000 on that car, and I knew the rotors weren't gouged and planned to just leave them on until they warped or whatever. It felt like the time had come, but it turned out to be that one rotor losing its fins. It was a first for me! This car has logged 25 years and 257,000 miles in the rust belt. Hall of Shame parts for sure!

I have however seen rotors from other peoples' vehicles, where the pad-backing plates had grinded through the friction surfaces, and into the vents!

installed the LMC headlight wiring harness and Hella Vision plus hallogen bulb conversion headlights. Dead simple install. The trickiest part was ordering the DOT version vs the ECE one. I almost screwed that one up. Otherwise smooth sailing. Just the 60/55 watt bulbs for now..

Beam and brightness comparison, old headlights vs new:

link to bulbs?

I bought conversion kit, which comes with lens assemblies and bulbs. Wanted to make sure to get the DOT version, not the ECE one.
Here is the link on Amazon. Summit sells the same kit as well.
Amazon Amazon

For DOT, be sure to get the one with the 002395301 part number.

Finished installing a new radio, speakers in the doors and a dual-voice speaker in the dash. Nice to have music after 5 years. And I installed a switch on the 12V exciter to my 3G alternator until I can upgrade to a serpentine belt and rid myself of the frequent start-up squeal.

Not today so much as lately, Been thinking about parting ways with it in favor of a SuperDuty... I find myself in the situation of a Superduty will be better suitied to my truck needs than my 74 even when the build on my 74 is finished

Powder coated and installed horns. I didnt heat these at 400 for 20 minutes per the usual for fear of cooking the internals. Instead I used a heat gun. Little orange peel but I can live with that. I know this isn’t the ‘correct’ location but couldn’t bring myself to scrape/sand on the rad support for a good ground. Maybe later...

that just someone who either should not own a vehicle. Or someone with no money for repairs. Which is kind of the same as the first. If they can't afford brakes. They shouldn't own a vehicle. They are just looking to kill someone . more than likely not themselves. That how it works out.
Running down the road with brakes like that puts everyone on the road around that vehicle in Danger.

Changed the oil. Noticed a cracked parking light lens, ordered a new one.
Let my son borrow it.
