Well today our move officially began.
Ka'Bluey is headed back home, and we'll be two weeks behind him.

So I finished assembling the intake, oil pump, oil pan and water pump and just checking off my list and going through my parts and noticed I forgot to install somthing important. What is sitting there on the leg of the engine hoist? looks like I will be taking the oil pan back off to install this little item.

Just temporary placement, it interfered with the chain.

Broke a bolt off in my head over the weekend.

Tried the ol' "back and forth" method which has never failed me before, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

I was planning on pulling my front clip anyways, so now I've REALLY got an excuse to do it. Driver side head has 2 more stuck bolts that won't budge (exhaust manifold fun), and 1 broken stud.

The fun continues!

That is a bummer. I know (probably twice) I posted a walk thru of removing the complete front clip. And also in there is getting out broken exhaust manifold bolts walk thru. I had the same issue when swapping over to headers.

So its been a long winter with all the work. I dropped in a new power plant, bored .40 over, new aluminum heads, fitech injection system. Just gotta get the exhaust done and the fitech wired in. lots of work and with the cold winter and my shop not wanting to heat up like I want it to. took way longer than it should.

Brakes!

Finally finished up the rear brakes on the Lone Ranger. New 6" extended brake hose, lines and every part in the hubs. Had the drums turned and then I painted them black. Need to put the wheels back on now!

Welcome to FTE! Lots of good people here, and often willing to help!

When you get a chance, post up some pictures-we love pictures...

And when you get ready to install that lift, post up some pics or any questions you may have in a build thread of your own. No extra charge!
