Got my new tires in. Unfortunately the lift kit, wheels and dash pad are all on back order. Starting to come together...slowly. On another note, not sure why my picts. always seem to crop themselves and change sizes.

Looks great. My pics do the same thing. Has to do with the forum pic system. Those front seats look nice. What kind of seats are those?

Finished engine bay and engine paint

Finished the long project of de-rusting entire bay, sanding and repainting the bay, the engine and inner hood

Thanks, having fun with this one. Haven't been able to drive it enough to find out the mechanical problems yet. Front seats are out of a early 90s ford supercab and the rear is a early 90s regular cab.

Alright got the rest of my welding done and sprayed box liner. It was about 1am and I was probably high off of fumes but I think it looks pretty darn good. I had extra too so I coated the underside in the wheel wells to help with rock chips and rust.

Sun visors look great! Clean and rattle can them (rustoleum)?

Headliner and visors back in. They were removed for the w/s replacement, in case the pinch seam needed some work.

Also troubleshot my temp gauge, new sender time.

She's a work truck, she's gotta fit the bill. So I took an old rusty framing hammer that was laying around and turned it into the shifter handle for the transfer case. Not exactly the most ergonomic but it fits the overall theme. Im keeping the old shifter **** just incase I forget which way 4wd is lol.

Actually I just used the same stuff I use on everything.. Just purple power and red Brillo pads and water. Knocked off all the rust, mold and some kind of green and white spots all over them, then used leather conditioning spray and they look brand spanking new..lol

7 hours to rehang the passenger door after installing new pins and loom for the speaker wire.

First time since I've owned the truck that I was ready to throw tools. Every move I made either made it have a huge gap or wouldn't let the door close. Ended up taking the fender off to get to the body side of the hinges.

But, it now closes and is relatively even all the way around. Way better than before.

Fenders (yes, the driver's side too) will stay off until I can pressure wash the engine bay.

First time I hung doors, it left me wishing I could throw the entire truck, not just tools. Once you realize that there is an X, Y, and Z adjustment and how everything coincides, you can hang a door pretty fast. Really helps having two people to tackle it though.
