Debo Step - anybody have one?

I know, if I'm gonna wear my skirt driving my truck I should have ordered the Ford tailgate step, but I didn't.

Any body have one of these? Half the price, and you don't have the handle in the way on the tailgate.

Just curious if anyone has one?

I've seen those, but can't say much about them. I have the tailgate step and like it.

You might want to look at something like this:

Good luck

I think it's just the angle of the photo. The bottom photo shows a pretty good platform. Looks like it could work. I've always used my hitch as a step anyway :P

These photos show them to be a little bigger than on the first page.

If I could find something similar to those that have a 10" or 12" drop from the bottom of the bumper I'd consider it.

That one looks pretty slick also.

Still not low enough for me but I'll keep looking.

I have the tailgate step on my truck, I didn't order it it came with the truck and at first I didn't think I would use it much but I do all the time. It comes with a handle that folds down onto the gate and the step has a small flap that unfolds with anti slip tape on them it is perfectly safe. It is a great idea they should have come up with that a long time ago. If you go into the bed much it is well worth the investment.

I have a Debostep. The pad is about 8x8" and is covered with a rubber non-slip cover. It works great, very solid and steady. I weigh 250 lbs and the step saves my knees. The thing that I like the most about it is that it does not interfere with anything. The step mounts goes over the tow bar on the hitch, so I can still tow my boat. Nothing is attached to my tailgate or encased in my tailgate.

Its a good product.

I have a "bully" cowboy hitch step, same thing but comes out the side instead of the rear.
Used it on my 04 350 work truck with racks and boxes so there was always something to grab onto to steady yourself on the way in or out of the bed.
If nothing else it made a good place to mount a vise on the job.
Cost about $60.00 online, some place like autoanything.com or something similar.
Since the last truck has the tailgate step it now resides on the floor under my work bench, waiting to be listed on ebay or something, I'm tired of looking at it.
