Great story Alex. I wish I could come visit Alaska and see some of what you see every day! My dad was stationed at Site Summit above Anchorage. That is the old military base on the mountain with the lit star. Maybe someday the wife and I could load up the truck and make a trip to see America's last great wilderness! Would be great to see what you have accomplished since you last updated!

*Blows dust off thread*
Wanted to tune in and update this. I finally got around to uploading some pictures on my facebook account and it occurred to me that am I about two years behind on updating my life with family, friends and this community. I don't know how it happened but life has just been moving along and I haven't stopped to keep in touch with people. Part of that blame is to go on living without internet at home! None the less, I am determined to get up to date and be less of a lurker.
What this means to you? Super Duty pics!
Cliff Notes:
As for me? I last updated from Talkeetna, AK where I had lived and worked for almost 3 years after moving to Alaska on a whim. Since then I met a wonderful young lady and after enjoying a 8,000 mile roadtrip (in which we saw Clay of RiffRaff and Partsguy Ed) to the lower 48 and back, we decided to move to only real ski resort in Alaska, Girdwood, AK. Thanks to my experiences with MUGLY, I had decided to consider a career in the field of diesel mechanics. Before I could get that ball rolling, I was injured at work and sidelined by shoulder surgery. Fast forward to today and I am only 6 months from graduating with a certificate in Diesel Mechanics from AVTEC School of Technology here in Seward, AK.
My Photobucket isn't letting me upload in bulk, so I will go ahead and post one so that you didn't find this first post to be a complete waste of your time.
