Just joined the 4X4 club

I just joined the 4X4 club, not what I was expecting or anybody was expecting, but if you know me it'll fit right in. 1964 F-250 factory 4X4, it's a real gem lol, but it has a coolness factor to the truck. I need to build a bed for it and get the ole "y" block 292 running right. Guarantee judging by the stack of springs underneath it it'll haul some wood. The wife says she'll whack me with "shovel of Wisdom" if I try to take it apart and fix it up. So keep me straight. Post some pics when I get....Then again maybe I won't. It'll fit right in with rustrod crowd.

I appreciate your choice in "Old Iron" Charlie!................ My first truck was a 66 F250 stick. I think that those old Fords are made of old tank parts, and boy, they sure have a personality!

I miss my old 66' F-250 if still had that one I wouldn't need this one. Thanks George and everyone. You're right they weren't afraid of metal back in those days.

Update: My friend who I was buying it from and I both came to the same conclusion that he really doesn't want to sell the truck and that I found a better truck to fit what I really needed anyhow, which is a 78' F 350 dually with a 12' dump bed. Driving it home next Sat.
