Yeah, that "petition" is as useless as **** on a boar hog.

We may not like the new law, but unfortunately, even if every single diesel owner in California signed a legally approved petition asking for it's repeal, nothing would change.

California diesel emissions is here to stay, and will only get stricter.

There's waaaaaaaaay too much money behind the legislation. The California Air Resource Board see's an abundant new cash crop in diesel owners and they've finally got their hooks in us, behind the guise of clean air, and there's no way they'll do anything except put tighter restrictions on and sell CARB certs to companies willing to pay the extortion fee's for their products to be sold and used on California vehicles.

I like your quote,Pat
"Better to fight for something than live for nothing."

"You wil have better luck just throwing the polititians into the ocean and starting over."
Maybe hold their heads under water for a minute or two.

I'm worried about what it's gonna cost to conform.

Looks like there's still kinks in the implementation since now it's not going to start until April.

Luckily I just did my January renewel (no test required ) and have 2 years until they get things figured out!

The signed petition is displaying the names and addresses to public view.
I am split if I would support it, or not, but the site looks scummy.

When Cali figures their politicians out I will start sending ours there to be dealt with. After all I do live in the state that elected Jesse Ventura governor and Al Franken as a senator.
