Not yet...

I still have the silver stars sitting in my glovebox waiting to be returned. After freezing my rear off to put the headlights in, I've almost lost ambition to remove them and install the Phillips. I'll get around to it eventually.

I've tried a couple different HID setups with no luck until I got a set of DDMtunning 55w high/low beam 6000k...best quality and best of all trouble free, only set I've had that fires up everytime without issues and would highly reccomend them! Price is close to buying a set of silverstars. I liked them so much I put a set on my wifes Nav...no ballast problems or firing issues at all. If you get the high/low kit it comes with a relay kit too. And yes...the high beams actually work and are ridiculously bright!

Just thought i'd give an update!

I bought a set of DDMtuning.com's 35w H10 HID fog light bulbs for my truck, 5,000k. I wish they were the FIRST mod I did to this truck.

At first I was disappointed because when I started them up, they were pretty blue, but about 20 seconds later when they fully warmed up they are PURE white. If I stand back and look at my truck they do not look like your typical ricer blue/purple HID conversion. They are considerably whiter than my headlights, however do not have a tint of blue to them at all.

I am seriously thinking about doing my headlights too now.

As for the HID's....i've got retro-solutions.com digital 55W set....i got the slim ballasts and am having a minor annoying problem with them and the remote starter....but they work great otherwise....

I've put in 3 sets of their kits in other cars and i've always loved the quailty.

If you go hid its my opinion that 5000K is the best option...
Hay Ryan whats the minor problem ? and what bulb type do you have I cant find 9008 bulbs on there list. Sorry im asking you the same question on bulbs

With the remote starter, when its really cold, sometimes the passenger side doesn't come on when it starts......

The bulb is an H13 for your truck. (same thing as a 9008).
